Class Trips

Graduation and Senior Class trips are once-in-a-lifetime events in a student's life, as much a revered senior year tradition as caps and gowns.  Each spring, two of the legendary theme parks host the best graduation celebrations around — non-stop parties overflowing with attractions, dance clubs, and big-name musical performances.  If you’re planning class trips, the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau can help you create itineraries that hit all of the hot spots and delight students and chaperones alike.  We can also help you make reservations for graduation events, get group discounts, arrange group accommodations, and coordinate logistics to help make your visit go as smoothly as possible.

One of the most well known graduation events is Grad Nite, held each year at Walt Disney World® Resort.  The excitement begins early, so be sure group members arrive in time to kick off the festivities at a lively pre-party Blast-Off.  Grad Nite continues with high-energy fun in the parks, with many of the most popular attractions staying open late for the occasion.

Another popular graduation rite is Grad Bash, an evening of fun and excitement at Universal’s Islands of Adventure®.  Your group can enjoy all the park rides and attractions, as well as great live music, street entertainment, and DJ Dance Zones that keep the music going until the wee hours.  Getting there early is half the fun, so plan for group members to arrive in time to attend the many pre-parties held at the park and at Universal CityWalk®.

If your group will be staying in Central Florida longer than just one fun-filled night, plan for them to visit SeaWorld® Orlando, another of the area’s legendary theme parks.  The newest crowd-pleaser is the new Manta, a white-knuckled ride on a unique roller coaster known as Central Florida's "first flying coaster."

You can also make plans for groups to make a splash at any of central Florida’s famed water parks.  Choices include Walt Disney World® Resort’s two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, as well as Wet n’ Wild Orlando, where they can slip and slide on 30 acres of slides and flumes, including multi-passenger tube rides.  For a different kind of thrill, group members can brave the steep watery plunges at the brand new AquaticaTM SeaWorld’s Waterpark.

Back on dry land, make plans for group members to compete in a fast-paced go-kart race or attempt the first hole-in-one at a creatively themed mini-golf course.   Or for a more educational experience, arrange for the group to visit Forever Florida, a 4,700 acre eco-ranch and wildlife conservation area with nine distinct ecosystems.  Students can experience the natural, unspoiled beauty of Old Florida and see alligators, black bears, white-tail deer and endangered Florida panthers through a guided coach safari, horseback safari and Florida's only zipline safari.
After dark, make plans for group members to spend the evening at Old Town in Kissimmee, where they can enjoy 18 exciting rides, 75 shops and boutiques and eight restaurants, as well as free rock concerts and other live entertainment.  The pace picks up on weekend nights, with Old Town’s popular Friday and Saturday Nite Car Cruises featuring restored classic and custom automobiles Cruises — musts for car buffs of any age.   Best of all, admission is free.
