A: The CVB can assist in planning your meeting every step of the way, from submitting the RFP to the final gavel. Please use our easy RFP planning tool, complete the RFP form, submit it to us and we can help you select just the right facility, develop the perfect agenda, and create exciting activities to add the correct element of fun.
Q: What if I don’t have all of the information to complete the RFP?
A: Feel free to call our office at 800-831-1844 and one of our Sales representatives will assist in every way possible.
Q: How much do Bureau Services cost?
A: There is no charge for most CVB services such as RFP responses, referrals, planning assistance, and more. Our number one objective is to help you plan and host a fabulous meeting, regardless of size.
Q: When I send an RFP, how long does it take to get proposals?
A: The Kissimmee CVB takes pride in processing RFPs and returning proposals within 48 business hours.
Q: There is so much to do in Central Florida, how do I find the right off-site venues for my group?
A: Given a general group profile, a Destination Services Representative (800 414-0000) can help narrow down your options to the venues that best suit your group’s need. A Representative can also assist with off-site transportation requirements.
Q: How do my attendees get from the Orlando International Airport to Kissimmee resorts?
A: Airport shuttles and taxis are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Shuttles and taxis are located outside the baggage claim area at the airport. VIP transportation is available through numerous limo and private transportation companies. Most major car rental agencies are located at the airport. Motorcoach transportation can also be secured. Contact a Destination Services Representative at 800-831-1844 to determine your best options.
Q: Where is Kissimmee?
A: Kissimmee is located next to Orlando (just 20 minutes south of Downtown) and close to everything (just 5-10 minutes to the Walt Disney World® Resort, and about 20-30 minutes to Universal® Orlando Resort and SeaWorld® Orlando. Kennedy Space Center and the Atlantic beaches are just an hour’s drive; and the Gulf Coast beaches are less that two hours.
Q: When is the best time to hold a meeting or convention in Kissimmee?
A: Anytime is ideal; however November and the first half of December are the best times: rates are low, the weather is perfect, and attractions are not as crowded.
Q: With so many hotels and resorts from which to choose, how do I find the best meeting property for my meeting?

A: Contact a Destination Services Representative 800-831-1844. We can provide contacts for attractions and dinner shows or assist in coordinating a group activity at a discounted rate; and assist with making necessary transportation arrangements.
