The constantly increasing focus on environmental stewardship has created a new awareness and a desire on the part of many planners and meeting sponsors to create meetings that are friendly to our planet. Kissimmee’s commitment to the preservation of our environment has resulted in a number of initiatives that can help to do just that. Many of our facilities and lodgings have turned to technologies and programs that reduce waste and use supplies that are environmentally friendly. Additionally, there are measures you can implement that will keep your meeting as green as possible.

• Serve tap water at your meeting instead of bottled water.
• Use products and collateral materials made from post-consumer waste.
• Move everyone around in private shuttles or buses, or offer them the option to take advantage of Kissimmee’s first-rate public transportation services.
• Purchase carbon offsets.
