Kissimmee Chain of Lakes

The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes offers some of the best bass and crappie fishing to be found anywhere in the world. Consequently, some hotly contested fishing tournaments have been held on these waters, including the Bassmaster Classic.

The Kissimmee Chain of Lakes has been managed by Florida Fish and Wild Conservation.  Commission biologists to produce quality aquatic habitat which supports nationally recognized sport fisheries.

More than 100,000 surface acres of water offer. Twenty public lakes are directly connected by canals that flow south to the Kissimmee River. The lakes that make up the Kissimmee Chain are: Lake Tohopekaliga (18,810 a), Lake Kissimmee (34,948 a), East Lake Tohopekaliga (11,968 a), Lake Cypress (4,097 a), Lake Hatchineha (6,655 a), Lake Jackson (1,500 a) and Lake Marian (5,739 a).
