FHSAA Competitive Cheerleeders Volunteer Opportunities

The Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau is working with the Florida High School Athletic Association to conduct the FHSAA Competitive Cheerleading Competition at Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, February 2-4, 2012.

The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) is committed to this ideal, and to the belief that a quality education does not begin or end in the classroom.

For over 90 years, the FHSAA – through the cooperative efforts of its member schools – has provided opportunities for high school students in Florida to participate on a fair and equitable basis in interscholastic athletic programs that produce vital educational benefits.

The FHSAA sponsors championship programs through which 108 teams and more than 720 student-athletes are crowned state champions in 30 sports each year. Through participation in these athletic programs, an estimated 798,500 students annually are extended opportunities to receive lessons in leadership, sportsmanship and citizenship . . . lessons not normally taught in the classroom.

Tournament volunteers will provide valuable services to the organization, teams, and spectators. Duties range from registration, team hosts, hospitality, timers and more.

Volunteer training will be held prior to the event. T-shirts and credentials will be distributed. All volunteers will be enrolled in the Team Kissimmee Volunteer Program and will be eligible to received credit hours towards prizes.

As a volunteer you will receive an official volunteer t-shirt, parking pass, and snacks & meals (when applicable).  You will also be enrolled in the Kissimmee CVB Volunteer Rewards Program.

Please review the area responsibilities and determine which area(s) and dates/times you would like to work.  Complete the following Volunteer Form and return it to:
